Cedar's Island is a great place to spend a night aboard, anchored just off the Chesapeake Bay next to a sandy beach. During your trip, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including weather forecasting, route planning, sailing, navigation, anchoring and preparing meals aboard. We will discuss what makes a good anchorage as well as how to manage any challenges that may arise throughout the trip. You will spend the evening aboard Galene in either the private cabin or a single aft bunk. This trip has a capacity of 2 people, not including the captain.
