If a trip needs to be cancelled due to weather, you will be contacted before the scheduled departure. Cancelled trips due to weather are entitled to a full refund. The final decision on weather cancellations is made by the captain.
Day Charters: Our goal is to ensure you have an amazing time on the water. If rain chances exceed 25% or wind gusts are forecast above 25 knots, you’ll have the option to cancel or reschedule.
Sailing Classes and Multi-day Trips: We typically don’t cancel unless the weather is extreme. In that case, your captain will contact you at least 48 hours in advance. Trips canceled due to weather will be rescheduled or refunded.
We offer free cancellation within 48 hours of booking. After that period, cancellations for any reason will forfeit a 50% deposit.

Please enter through the resort’s main lobby; the front desk will provide directions to the marina. Restroom facilities are available at the marina, and a marine toilet is also available onboard.
For ASA sailing courses, your instructor will meet you in the lobby.

Yes! You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks aboard. Glass containers are prohibited (other than wine or champagne bottles).

Ever since he learned to walk, Captain Clay has been stepping aboard boats to explore the Chesapeake Bay. From racing sailboats as a kid to voyaging to the Florida Keys with his (now) wife, Ally, and delivering vessels to Bermuda and along the Eastern Seaboard, it’s fair to say Captain Clay has salt water in his veins. He is now settled in Irvington, VA as a captain, instructor and certified boat technician.
