Charters range from 2 to 5 hours, depending on the vessel and trip you choose. Each charter begins with a brief safety orientation, followed by a short cruise out of Carter’s Creek before sails are raised on the Rappahannock River.

All charters depart from Tides Inn Marina; please enter through the main lobby, where the front desk or bell staff can direct you to the docks or assist with a golf cart if needed.

We offer full refunds for weather-related cancellations. High winds or rain may trigger a cancellation, and the final decision always rests with the captain to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience.

Galene accommodates up to 4 guests, and Pisces up to 6 guests. Groups of 7–10 guests may book our Dual-Boat Party Package.

Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, with free ice available at the marina—or elevate your charter by adding wine and charcuterie at checkout, ready and waiting onboard when you arrive. Pisces charters may also request a complimentary ice-filled cooler.

Yes—both boats are stocked with plates, bowls, cutlery, stainless mugs, paper towels, and basic galley supplies.

Yes, when conditions allow and the captain deems it safe. Please note that jellyfish are sometimes present during summer months, and guests should bring their own towels.

We sail whenever conditions allow, which is most days. On calm days, the inboard engines may be used to keep the boat moving and ensure an enjoyable outing.

Wear soft-soled shoes and dress for the weather; layers are recommended. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are encouraged.

Yes. Children are welcome, and we provide USCG-approved lifejackets for kids under 13. If you prefer to bring your child’s personal lifejacket, that’s perfectly fine too.
