ASA 101 takes place over 2 days from 9am-5pm. From the ground up we cultivate a strong foundation of sailing knowledge and skill. Learn basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, helm commands, basic sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards. This course includes access to a free Intro to Sailing online video course. By the end of the second day you will be steering a 36’ sailboat under power and sail. You will also be well-prepared for the ASA 101 certification exam.
